The Alberta Securities Commission's fourth annual ASC Connect conference was held virtually on October 27, 2020. Our objective was to shed light on Alberta’s plan for economic recovery and the efforts underway to foster resiliency and innovation. We heard from The Honourable Travis Toews, Alberta's Minister of Finance, about Alberta's recovery plan. Expert panelists contributed their insights and information and we had meaningful panel discussions about how we are adapting to our current market realities, fostering resilience, promoting growth in technology, innovation and capital formation and considering ways Alberta can leverage its existing advantages.
